An Explanation of Our Home Staging Services
An in-home assessment (or site survey) is always free of charge. A personal visit with you and a tour of your home will enable us to assess your house in preparation for sale. At this appointment we will answer your questions and provide you with options (a Proposal) for staging your home so that it is ready to list & market as a staged property. If your house is already listed FSBO or with a real estate professional, we will provide the same service.
A home staging consultation consists of a personal visit with you and a tour of your home, an expert evaluation of the entire home, inside, as well as out, and a detailed reporting of how to prepare your home for sale. We have several options in providing the customized report and tailor it to you and your home specifically. The reporting will define everything that needs to be completed in order to facilitate staging your home for sale. It is not boiler plate. Be prepared for this process to take from 1 - 3 hours depending on the size and condition of your home. After the items in the Report are completed, you contact us, and an ASP or ASPM will return to your home for "fine tuning" (which is the creative input by a trained professional) and certification. At that point, and if all items are completed, you will receive a Staged Home Certificate and your home can then be specially marketed as a "staged home". This service is most attractive to those who want to do the work themselves~DIYer's. Although, after we complete a Consultation, we can still prepare a Proposal for our company to complete all or a portion of the work. Simply ask your ASP or ASPM.
When you know you don't have the time, the desire or simply the know-how to prepare your home for sale, Staging to Sell services would be the choice. We can do some or all the work - we pack up & label your un-necesary and personal items (after we have reviewed these items and agreed), uniquely arrange the remaining furniture & accessories, provide you with a list of home showing instructions, and certify your home as a staged home so that it can be marketed as such. A great way to reduce your staging investment is to pack up the un-necessary items yourself - you're moving anyway and it will give you a great head start! Simply ask your ASP or ASPM.
Staging to Live - what a nice ring that has to it. Wouldn't it be nice to start your day, knowing where everything is, kids backpacks, shoes, coats, paperwork, your keys? Well, when staging to live we help you organize your homes systems (closets, kitchen, office, kids) and help you determine what items are necessary in your home, remove those that aren't (that's where clutter begins), and then uniquely arrange your furniture & accessories to create a warm, inviting and stress-free atmosphere for you to begin and end your day. We can help you with one room or your entire home. It is our goal to help you create an environment where you can relax, as well as an environment in which you can be productive (because you're not spending time looking for things). This is a customized service and we can tailor it to fit your specific needs. We can utilize everything you presently own or allow for purchase of new items, whichever you desire.
Need help organizing and de-cluttering? Well, we can help with that, too. Of course, after you get all those papers and the kids toys sorted through and organized, you might want to stage to live that stress-free life we talked about earlier. How much does it cost?
We offer a variety of payment options to fit any budget. Often for as little as $75.00.
An investment in staging your house to sell is far less than the cost of your first price reduction. The average first price reduction can be as much as 10% of the list price. Example: $300,000.00 list price = $30,000.00 cut.
